Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Arizona Computer Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Arizona Computer Services provides computer repair, IT support, web development, and related technology services. The specific services, pricing, and terms for each engagement will be outlined in a separate service agreement or quote.

3. Service Appointments

  • Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website.
  • We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Same-day appointments are subject to availability.
  • On-site services require someone 18 years or older to be present.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
  • Past due accounts may be subject to a 1.5% monthly service charge.

5. Warranty

We provide a 1-year warranty on all labor and services performed. This warranty covers:

  • Defects in workmanship
  • Issues directly related to our repair or service
  • Parts installed by our technicians (manufacturer warranty applies)

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage occurring after service
  • Software issues unrelated to our work
  • Virus or malware infections occurring after service
  • Issues caused by user error or misuse
  • Water or liquid damage

6. Data and Privacy

We take your data privacy seriously. During service:

  • We will only access data necessary to perform the requested service.
  • We recommend backing up your data before any service.
  • We are not responsible for data loss during repairs (though we take precautions).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arizona Computer Services shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business interruption
  • Damages exceeding the amount paid for the specific service

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arizona Computer Services, its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

9. Third-Party Services

Our services may involve third-party software, hardware, or services. We are not responsible for the terms, policies, or performance of third-party products. Any warranties for third-party products are provided by the respective manufacturers.

10. Intellectual Property

For web development and custom software projects:

  • You retain ownership of content you provide.
  • Upon full payment, you receive ownership of custom code created specifically for you.
  • We retain rights to general-purpose code, frameworks, and tools used across projects.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:

  • All outstanding payments become due immediately.
  • We will provide any files or assets belonging to you.
  • Hosting services will be transferred or discontinued as requested.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
